Workday, 6/25/05

We had another good crew this past Saturday, 6/25/05.  Thanks to all our
volunteers we are making good progress.  We were able to hang more
drywall this past Saturday.  The next scheduled workday is 7/9/05.  We
will continue to hang drywall and install siding.

We had a very productive work day today.  We had a fairly large work crew with some workers busy outside while others worked inside the house.  The crew working inside the house began the sheetrock work.  We managed to get most of the sheetrock up on the ceilings and also started putting the sheetrock on the walls.  The outside workers put house wrap on the gables of the house.  On our next work day, which is scheduled for June 25, we will continue the sheetrock work.

The house is completely enclosed.  The roof is on and all windows and doors have been installed.  We have started the installation of exterior siding.

The next workday is 5/28.  Because of the holiday we will probably only work 1/2 day.

Tasks for that day include:
  Continue installation of exterior siding
  Installation of interior insulation
Begin hanging of drywall if installation of insulation is completed

The footing has been poured.

Due to delays (like Easter weekend & the weather), the next workday will likely be April 2, (no fooling) 2005.  Check back to verify the date, time and activities planned.
